It’s a thing in the show and is especially creepy here.
Piper comes home from JAM Class and she seems pretty okay. “I want you to read this message in my voice” But to be fair, this does lead to the only funny joke in the episode: Meanwhile, Swoz reads a message from Ray telling him to get something.
Also, as per usual it takes over 10 minutes to get to anything of substance. We see it in the establishing shot but no one is evacuating or reacting at all.īecause god forbid something exciting happen. By the way, that tornado is barely addressed outside of being fodder for jokes.
Whatever, this would be fine if this was done well but oh boy. Why would either of them do this bet anyway? Wouldn’t Ray like it if Piper actually got better? Henry saw her earlier, he knows she has it in her, so why do this bet knowing how Ray got the last time they did this? Here? Nope, he’s saying wrong things for the sake of it. The bet in that episode made sense as Captain Man didn’t think Jasper could be trusted with secrets and wanted to test it. An episode from this very show! One of the better ones, I might add! That’s right, not wanting to simply re-use plots from his older shows, we’re rehashing The Bucket Trap. “I bet you that the day your sister is done with JAM class, I can get her to loose her temper that very same day” Besides, she was the one who actually wanted to better herself, give her more of a chance. Spoilers, this is not an episode about Ray learning that he’s wrong so I can be mad at him here. Henry tells them about Jam Class and both Japser and Ray find it to be a bad idea because Piper is bad. They reject is and he grumbles random nonsense because he’s foreign. The news says a tornado is headed to town and Swoz has made a machine to help with that. Or the 2nd thing because it’s a dumb joke. “Girls point arms, pumpkins being murdered” We start the subplot (if you can even call it one) in the Man Cave with, as Henry puts it: One of the people there has a collar that creates a special mist that helps make you feel calmer. Seriously, first that Sam and Cat episode, now this? There’s also a guy that looks like Hannibal Lector because family show. But alas, it goes wrong.Īnd then Jasper gets his shirt stuck in the garbage disposal because COMEDY.Īfter the intro, Piper and Henry arrive at JAM Class and all the jokes you expect with angry people are here. This is a solid premise for an episode, to finally make Piper realize how bad she is and learn from it. Henry of course suggests Junior Anger Management aka JAM class, hence the title. It’s true Piper is typically pretty terrible but here it all catches up to her, as she realizes that even her so called friends can’t stand her.

Can’t a moment ever go by without you telling us how to feel?īut to be fair, the moment isn’t a bad one in theory. A moment that is somewhat ruined by the overblown music and fake audience reaction. Her reaction is…to break down crying in an actual dramatic moment. “We don’t mean to hurt your feelings, we just don’t want you around” They tell her they dislike her due to how she freaks out when things don’t go her way. Wouldn’t have it been better to start here? Maybe I just wanted to skip more dumb jokes than I already have. Then again, they are hiding every dangerous object in the house before they tell her so maybe she is worth ditching.īefore they can tell her, she gets a message from her friends telling her about all this. Okay, Piper is bad but that’s still a really dick move/ Because they left without her due to their dislike of her. But oh boy does it go downhill in the typical KidCom fashion. The sad thing is, this one had potential and starts off well. I already didn’t find the Zoey 101 episode that bad, as I get what they were going for, but I respect i even more after watching this one. The reason I bring this up is that our first episode features Dan once again rehashing previous materiel as this is pretty much the same concept, just worse. I watched it and found it to be just kinda mixed. See, there’s an episode of Zoey 101 called Anger Management that gets a lot of hate and is seen as the worst episode of that show. Both are bad but not the worst so it’ll be fun to look at them both. To make up for it, we have two episodes from this very year. We haven’t looked at him all year, and that’s a shame. That’s right, it’s Schneider Time once again. Only this time we have 2 different shows that may as well be the same show. We did a tamer-ish single episode last but now it’s time to double dip again.
